The bathroom is a shared portable toilet seat system, guests provide their own waste disposal bags to use with this system OR bring their own pack-it-out toilet system to use at their campsite. Campsite 5
Vehicles park at the entrance of the campsite due to varying levels of terrain, but this tent and hammock site is level, shady, and spacious. There is a short, private trail to a small, spring-fed creek. An overlook of the forest hillside is best observed in spring and fall. Site 5 is very easily accessible by walking from the entrance of the campground. Includes a rustic rock firepit and heavy duty grill grate to cook over the fire. This campsite is ideal for being "off the beaten path" of the camp road, making it a bit more private than others, and rests at the edge of a large star gazing field.

Campsite 6
NEW and IMPROVED! A leaf bed campsite with a gentle down-hill slope, overlooking a beautiful wooded holler which usually glows at sunset. Due to the slope, this is a tent and hammock only site, but we have improved two new spots for tent camping! Guests are also welcome to sleep in their vehicle but required to park at the entrance of the campsite. This is a very good option for quick overnight stays. Includes a rustic rock firepit and heavy duty grill grate to cook over the fire. Easy access by vehicle, a very short walk to a star gazing field, and across from the entrance to our "Spring Trail" a meandering wooded trail along the spring system that feeds the upper cascades above the falls.

CAMPSITE 9 REVIEW
"We recently stayed at this primitive campsite and had a wonderful time! It was located in a beautiful forest with easy and scenic walking trails. The host was also very nice and friendly. It's the perfect place to get away from it all and enjoy the beauty of nature, especially for families with young children. I would recommend bringing a camping table or other flat surface to use as a picnic table." Jesse
